Hlidskjalf stands high in Asgard, in Odin's hall. From this throne the All-Father sees the nine worlds: Asgard, Midgard, the lands of the giants, and distant realms that no ordinary human can reach. Nothing escapes it.

Gungnir is Odin's spear, forged by the skilled hands of dwarves. It flies straight to its target and never fails its master. When Odin raises it, all know that the time of strength and decision has come.

Thor Heyerdahl was a Norwegian archaeologist and explorer who crossed the Pacific Ocean on a hand-built raft.
My father received the tourist call sign "Tour Herdal" from the Grand Marshal of the Moscow tourist cycling club Karavan (founded in 1984).
That call sign was passed down to me — along with a love for hiking, travel, and, of course, for good gear.
